We are looking for a Technical Implementation Specialist to be a part of one of the newest and fastest-growing teams at TED. This individual will help us serve large enterprises with a learning program that inspires new, better ways of working. 

Job Description

You will be supporting TED@Work customers and partners with all technical aspects of implementing TED@Work. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of TED@Work e-learning courses into various software learning platforms by formatting CSVs, writing formulas or scripts, and reading software documentation.
  • Be a creative and curious problem solver to find and diagnose likely problems on the fly on any platform, website, or data feed, to be able to pass to engineers.
  • Create databases or spreadsheets, processes, and reports/visualizations that take big, messy CSVs, and turn them into more readily usable data that customer success managers and leadership can use regularly.
  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders from customers and partners. 

Qualifications

Requirements

  • No coding is required, but an ability to troubleshoot code, parse error messages and use browser console tools, read documentation, and work with engineers at a technical level
  • Write formulas to manipulate data
  • Work directly with prospective customers and existing customers – maintaining professionalism, clear communication and ability to put technical issues in everyday terms, while artfully representing TED
  • Interest in TED Talks and in becoming well-versed in the corporate learning and development industry

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in a professional role with technical responsibilities and demonstrated communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with clients, partners, and co-workers
  • Experience with support/troubleshooting spreadsheets, databases, scripts, code, or software
  • Experience creating advanced formulas (for any platform)
  • Data manipulation skills (database or spreadsheet)
  • Must be based in the US

LOCATION: Remote 

SALARY RANGE

$65,000 - 75,000

  • Travel: Must be able to travel to New York occasionally (1-4 times per year)
