Technical Product Manager Overview

As a Technical Product Manager at FinTron, your role is pivotal in managing and driving the success of our technical initiatives, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Be a true leader with responsibility for designing, developing, and launching software products alongside a talented team. Your area of responsibility will lead and cover requirements gathering, documentation creation, timelines specification, user experience analysis, quality assurance, product performance, and product usage.

This role will report to executives from multiple functions across the organization to ensure we’re building solutions that solve our customer’s needs in a scalable way. We are seeking someone who will:

  • Identify and prioritize projects; leverage your adaptability to ensure efficient resource utilization, and navigate changes in project scope(s)
  • Provide regular updates on progress driving alignment to maintain operational efficiency
  • Identify and address risks with an entrepreneurial mindset, crafting solutions to overcome challenges
  • Coordinate the release and deployment of software products, ensuring a smooth transition from development to production.
  • Collaborate amongst developers, designers, and operators to manage dependencies effectively, and uphold high-quality standards across projects
  • Offer technical guidance to team members, ensuring that our solutions align seamlessly with the demands of the SaaS market
  • Act as the domain expert and resource for the engineering and support team, providing valuable insight into the securities market, and the mechanics thereof.
  • Be the champion for a cohesive, end-to-end experience for all team members and business decision-makers while adhering to securities industry regulations, demonstrating our commitment to compliance and innovation.
  • Forge connections with external vendors or partners to translate their underlying needs into product plans

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the full software and product development lifecycle, with an understanding of the fundamentals of building successful SaaS products
  • Experience managing technical software products from kick-off to ship
  • Excellent internal cross-team and external customer-facing communication skills
  • Experience working on products with developer interfaces (APIs, SDKs; have a foundation of software development knowledge)
  • Expertise in orchestrating software project lifecycles within Jira
  • Experience working with complex, interconnected systems
  • Experience leading multiple concurrent projects in an agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Computer Science background or equivalent technical experience
  • Development experience (inclusive of mobile) and deep familiarity with SDKs/ APIs and tools and processes development teams use to develop, build, test and launch integrations
  • Understanding of how financial markets function, including market structure, key operational functions, and regulatory constructs.
