We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Product Manager with our PayCenter team. In this role you will be vital to the success of PayCenter as you will assist with strategizing, documenting, coordinating, and managing product backlogs. You will partner with clients and other cross-functional teams within Jack Henry to define requirements and enhance product offerings. You will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, on complex payment applications. This position can work remotely from the United States.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting with designing, modifying and managing activities for PayCenter products from
  • definition and planning through production and release.
  • Helping to create and manage backlog requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Contributing to release documentation for clients.
  • Understanding customer needs to improve and develop products.
  • Documenting use cases and workflows for development teams.
  • Developing client documentation and training to support adoption of new product features and functionality.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5 years of work experience as a product owner or doing business analyst work that included gathering requirements and working directly with technical teams on refinement and delivery.
  • Experience documenting, defining, and developing user stories and functional specifications.
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum development environment.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Domain, financial technology (FinTech), and payments industry experience.
  • Experience with Azure backlogs and requirements.
  • Business Process Modeling Notation using Visio.
  • Awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
  • Client interfacing experience.
