Technical Program Manager
Flatfile is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive customer project planning and execution. You’ll leverage your technical background and strong organizational skills to ensure clear communication, comprehensive documentation, and successful project delivery with our most strategic enterprise customers.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate directly with enterprise customers and both internal and external technical resources in designing and implementing solutions to challenging data exchange problems
- Manage project scope and timelines, track progress, and ensure milestones are met
- Provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders, including internal teams and customers
- Facilitate effective communication between product teams and customer-facing teams to align expectations and deliverables
- Identify and navigate organizational bottlenecks to drive progress while mitigating risks and escalating issues
- Maintain thorough documentation of project processes, decisions, and changes.
You'll likely thrive in this role if you:
- Proven experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or similar role in a software development environment.
- Technical background with a solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Familiarity with software development languages and frameworks.
Other details
- $70-80 per hour
- Available around 20 hours per week
