Our team is rapidly growing and looking for an experienced Technical Proposal Writer to contribute to development efforts and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

As a Technical Proposal Writer you'll start your day by meeting with subject matter experts or reviewing recent updates to our technology and proposal content. You'll spend the majority of your day translating complex information into simple, accessible documentation for both internal and external audiences as well as prospect clients. The day typically concludes with review and revision sessions, to ensure the highest quality of produced content.

What we are looking for: 

  • Proven experience as a Technical Proposal Writer in the technology sector with a focus on responding to Government RFIs and RFPs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and documentation software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Framemaker)
  • Ability to comprehend and translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand language
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writer, Computer Science, or related field

Highly preferred:

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience with software development processes and the Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of online content management systems
  • Certification in Technical Writing
  • Understanding of SEO principles
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in a global organization, working with diverse teams
  • Proficiency in additional languages beyond English

Clearance Requirements:

  • Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Work Type:

  • Remote
  • May require up to 10% travel

Salary Range:

  • $70,000 - $120,000
  • The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
