We are a rapidly growing organization with clients from Fortune 500 companies to leading Silicon Valley tech startups, and we're looking to bring on a part-time Technical SEO Strategist to help us propel our growth.

This is a part-time role with the expectations of about ten hours a week.

Requirements:

  • Screaming Frog: Proficiency in using Screaming Frog SEO Spider for website crawling, identifying technical issues, analyzing page titles and metadata, auditing hreflang attributes, and generating XML sitemaps.
  • Google Analytics: Expertise in using Google Analytics for tracking website traffic, understanding user behavior, setting up goals and conversion tracking, and interpreting data for SEO insights.
  • Google Search Console: Familiarity with Google Search Console for monitoring website performance in search results, identifying crawl errors, understanding search queries leading to the site, and submitting sitemaps.
  • Technical SEO Audits: Ability to conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify issues like broken links, redirect chains, duplicate content, and improving website loading speed.
  • Schema Markup: Knowledge of implementing and testing schema markup to enhance the website's appearance in SERPs with rich snippets.
  • Mobile Optimization: Understanding of mobile SEO best practices and ensuring the website is mobile-friendly and adheres to Google's mobile-first indexing.
  • Content Management Systems: Familiarity with various CMS like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal, and understanding how they impact SEO.
  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to understand how website design and structure affect SEO..txt, metadata, and site speed optimization to optimize website performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to dig extensively into metrics and analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand complex SEO issues or needs to produce simple explanations and specific action plans that support the client’s SEO strategy.
  • Fulfillment of reporting and interpreting data into meaningful analysis that can lead to decisions by our SEO Account Strategists.
  • Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from internal teams, to push for technical SEO best practices.
  • Fulfill one-off analysis and reporting to inform Strategy and Content teams.
  • Complete Technical SEO Audits.
  • Promote and foster analytical skills for all team members.
  • Use a variety of tools to monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, competitors, and link profiles for clients.
  • Adapting in the role as needed.

Salary:

$25-30 an hour
