Technical Support Engineer

Intiveo is a leading cloud-based patient experience platform used by more 14000 practitioners to communicate with 18 million patients. Our goal is to continuously improve patient care by understanding communication needs, behaviours, and preferences – resulting in successful treatment outcomes.

We need a Technical Support Engineer to think critically and solve problems. Reporting to our Product Operations Manager, you will work closely with team leads to ensure we continue growing with as little technical friction as possible. You will work alongside talented developers, product managers, and Tech Ops / Tech Support engineers to execute systematic solutions on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Review technical issues escalated from Customer Experience
  • Identify possible root causes of issues via deductive reasoning and data analysis, including SQL querying
  • Communicate and escalate issues to developers if deemed necessary
  • Help assess impact of incidents and formulate solutions and communication plans
  • Assist in coordination of temporary workarounds, solutions, and releases
  • Work collaboratively with QA Team members in testing key bug fixes and features

  • You are a creative thinker, committed to solutions, and have strong communication skills
  • You are educated and/or experienced in technical web application support
  • You know SQL for database investigations
  • You are eager to learn new technologies and can easily grasp technical concepts
  • You love problem solving and getting to the root of an issue
  • You are proactive and take initiative to solve problems before they arise
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
  • You have a passion for technology, and you are willing to learn and try new things
