Technical Writer

We are looking for an enthusiastic technical writer to help with the bunny.net platform, someone highly skilled at simplifying complex technical solutions. Technical writers are a key link between engineers, marketing, developer advocates, and all the external users and developers, tying together the many parts that make up our globally distributed cloud platform.

What will you do?

  • Document Solutions, APIs, Platform/Architecture, and User Interfaces.
  • Work with engineers and leadership teams covering various solutions to ensure quality.
  • Deliverables, including our bunny academy education platform and release notes.
  • Develop expertise in our Products and Solutions.
  • Engage in research and regular interaction with subject matter experts such as developers, product managers, and project managers.
  • Localize content as appropriate.
  • Hold regular content reviews with SMEs, and meet critical deadlines.

What will you add?

  • 5 years of work experience, including experience researching and writing excellent documentation for Developer Operations practitioners and/or developers (e.g., APIs, SDKs, web technologies).
  • Excellent understanding of Internet and cloud technologies.
  • An understanding of DITA/XML.
  • Prior experience writing and editing developer documentation.
  • Proven ability to lead documentation projects.
  • Excellent developmental editing, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce quality documentation.
  • Proven ability to work well with people and in a team.
  • Experience writing for an international audience.
  • Proven ability to multitask with multiple features, emerging technologies & products.
