Technical Writer
Description
We are seeking a talented Technical Writer to join our fast-paced software development startup. As a Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in documenting the technical aspects of our business, as well as the company requirements, workflows, business logic, and project application and implementation. You will work closely with our development team to create clear and concise documentation that is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive and accurate documentation for our software development processes, including but not limited to business logic, release notes, project application, and implementation.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation that is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and understand the company requirements and workflows.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Research and understand complex technical concepts and translate them into easy-to-understand language.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates to existing documentation to reflect evolving product features, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary updates.
- Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity and consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in technical documentation to continually enhance the quality of our documentation.
- Organize and maintain a comprehensive library of technical documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably within a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, including business logic, project application, and implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Confluence, or other similar tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Javascript, Typescript, Azure is a plus.
