Malwarebytes is looking for

Our team at Malwarebytes is currently seeking a Technical Writer to join our Customer Experience organization. 

As a technical communicator, you will have the opportunity to work alongside subject matter experts to develop self-help and product content for our support site. Additionally, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining our AI chatbot, as well as working on projects to enhance the overall customer support experience.

We are looking for someone with excellent writing and communication skills, who enjoys collaborating with others and can explain complex information in a clear and concise manner for our customers. We also value accountability and meeting product release dates.

What You’ll Do:

  • You will be working with Malwarebytes product managers, engineers, and technical support agents to create product guides and self-help articles for our customers.
  • Deliver high-quality documentation that is clear, concise, and technically accurate.
  • Follow best practices to ensure documentation meets the standards for quality, graphics, format, and style.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and create content to improve issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a strong knowledge-sharing community within support.
  • Work with support, engineering, and product management teams to gather data and information.
  • Review documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, quality, and SEO optimization

Skills You’ll Need to Have:

  • Ability to work Eastern Time Zone hours, working with subject matter experts in Tallinn, Estonia
  • Bachelor's degree in English or Communications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical communication role
  • Experience writing for SaaS, mobile, desktop products
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity trends and topics
  • Self-starter who isn’t afraid to ask for help and questions.
  • Thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities; ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent editing, writing, and communications skills.
