Job Description

What’s the opportunity?

As a Technical Writer in our global Knowledge Team, you’ll work with subject matter experts and your fellow technical writers to deliver high-quality technical documentation throughout our product lifecycle. Your primary focus will be working with our UK-based teams to develop end-user help content, but you’ll also be a key part of our design processes and knowledge sharing initiatives. You’ll be comfortable managing your own day-to-day work priorities, committed to continuous improvement, and motivated to become an expert in the products and tools you work with.

Here's how you'll do it.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and maintain product documentation for internal and external users throughout the product life cycle.
  • Create and improve user interface text, such as tooltips, field labels and error messages.
  • Collaborate with the product and design teams to create and and improve interactive product walkthroughs and tutorials.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in existing documentation.

Qualifications

What will you bring?

  • Experience as a technical writer, ideally in a software development environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex and technical information into clear, concise and everyday language that customers understand. We would love to see a portfolio that showcases your skills.
  • Proficiency with HTML, Markdown and the Adobe suite.
  • Proven ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
