Job summary:

We are looking for a technical writer to join the product team and help us translate complex business topics into easily understood topics with clear and simple language. You will be a highly motivated and experienced copywriter with several years of experience.

Requirements

Overall job responsibilities:  

  • Working with the product team to ensure new features are easy to understand and that important information is clearly communicated.
  • Preparing comprehensive product briefs for the marketing team to update the website appropriately.
  • Creating and updating internal documentation.
  • Crafting help articles that are clear and easy to understand.
  • Preparing articles on product-related topics for external usage.
  • Owning the product elements of our monthly customer communications
  • Supporting the business with other requirements as needed.

Technical skills & knowledge:

Essential

  • Experience working with very complex business subjects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience writing documentation for audiences with different levels of understanding.
  • Experiencing writing sales or promotional copy.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Able to work independently, identifying what needs to be done, creating a plan and managing work.

Desired

  • Experience working in the financial space.
  • Experience in product marketing and SEO.
  • Experience working with Google Docs, Presentations, Slack, Figma & Coda.
