Your role as a Technology Leader

In this role, you will be responsible for all things cyber and information security within Riverflex and its clientele. You will be leading engagements and working collaboratively with directors, C-level executives, and other key stakeholders to understand their challenges, innovate solutions and deliver findings. Our aim is to become trusted advisors to our clients. 

Primary responsibilities in this role will encompass the following:

  • You will be leading the development of the cyber security practice within Riverflex, where you will be involved in the delivery of customized awareness and coaching sessions to the core team as well as clients. 
  • You will participate in the development of the practice through the design and development of business proposals, as well as the identification of new collaboration opportunities with our existing clients, as well as new ones. 
  • You will be responsible for building our core team within the framework of missions or internal projects, where you will have the role of the contact person for cyber security-related projects and challenges, the validation of the deliverables, the evaluation of the achievements, and pioneering the development of the teams hard as well as soft skills.

Other typical activities and projects may look like:

  • Adapting security frameworks to create products that get to the heart of client questions
  • Developing remedial roadmaps to improve client security;
  • Recommending tools, processes, and solutions that solve problems rather than create more complexity;
  • Leading workshops with client stakeholders across operational and leadership levels;
  • Facilitating incident response and crisis management exercises;
  • Collaborating closely with our incident response and ethical hacking teams to integrate our services and support to clients;
  • Communicating complex technical language into easy-to-understand guidance for executives;
  • Supports the engagement economics visibility and insight to leadership;
  • Supporting, or actively contributing to other business development activities.
  • Proven experience in consulting and understanding of cyber security and principles, standards, processes, and technologies across a broad range of markets;
  • Proven experience as a technology leader or cloud manager or a similar, senior role requiring skillsets in cyber security/cloud;
  • Preferable experience specifically in Identity and Access Management to successfully lead IAM-related engagements with Riverflex clients
  • Relationship management – experience establishing & maintaining sound relationships with all stakeholders;
  • Proven experience in project managing within an IT transformation environment and delivering high-quality work within a fast-paced and ambitious working environment;
  • Sound business development skills and interested in building a cyber security portfolio by developing the practice, recruiting and building a team, and managing associate relationships;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • A passion for and understanding of cyber security trends and threats;
  • Comfortable working in an international, dynamic, and fast-paced environment;
  • Keen to contribute to the development of the Riverflex business, and has a strong sense of ownership and commitment;
  • Self-starter who wants a hands-on role in building structure, systems, programs, and processes to improve operational efficiencies;
  • Be eligible to work in the Netherlands;
  • Proficiency (verbal and written) in English.
