The Finance team is responsible for processing and managing the day-to-day business transactions that enable the company to thrive as a pioneering leader in the Atlassian ecosystem. The team also offers a well-rounded experience of the foundations of a finance function. About the role

If yes, then you are what we are looking for in this role. As a Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day banking and treasury operations for the Group and its subsidiaries.
You will play a critical role in managing the banking and monitoring cash flow, maintaining relationships with banks, executing payments, and ensuring compliance with treasury policies and regulations.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, forecasting, and analysis.
- Execute cash movement transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating terms and conditions and staying updated on industry trends.
- Develop, implement, and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as finance, accounting, and legal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of financial transactions.
- Provide periodic reports and analysis on treasury activities, cash positions, cash flow forecasts, and key performance indicators.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes related to treasury operations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend automated solutions to streamline treasury operations.
- Manage intercompany loans and transactions to optimise funds allocation within the multinational group.
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to help the organisation make informed financial decisions.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly.
- Proactive mindset, self-motivated, and able to work effectively, independently and in a team.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Solid understanding of financial instruments, banking products, and global cash management techniques is desirable
- Proficient in using treasury management systems and financial software is an added advantage
