We’re FuturLab, the award-winning game studio behind PowerWash Simulator, the Velocity seriesPeaky Blinders Mastermind, and many more awesome games.

We’re looking for a dynamic UI Artist to come and join our team making an array of amazing video game experiences! You can either work remotely or based out of our sunny seaside office in the vibrant city of Brighton and Hove. As a UI Artist you will have an opportunity to contribute to the highly successful world of PowerWash Simulator, you’ll also be looking at a variety of other games and supporting various teams within the business. Your day to day will involve using your graphic design skills, creating and implementing new polished and inviting user interface visuals, supporting pre-existing UI styles and working closely with the Lead UI Artist and Art Director.

Requirements

  • Relevant game UI design experience via an online portfolio showing great graphic design, typography, and iconography ability.
  • Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and Unity.
  • Experience of taking a game’s user interface from concept through to final game ready artwork in Unity.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with teams across more than one project.
  • An understanding of UI/UX best practices.
  • Ability to match existing styles, as well as creating exciting new visual directions.

Desirable

  • Experience shipping games on consoles.
  • Motion graphics.
  • 2D art skills.
