We are looking for a UI/Marketing Designer who can create visually stunning and intuitive digital experiences for tourism businesses and bring our brand to life visually across multiple digital and print platforms. Responsibilities:

  • Design booth graphics, brochures, and promotional materials for major industry events such as IAAPA, HITEC, and ARIVAL. (Prioritized trade show focus)
  • Design high-impact visuals for marketing campaigns, including website assets, email campaigns, landing pages, and digital ads. (This remains high as it supports pre/post-trade show marketing efforts)
  • Create engaging presentation decks and sales collateral for industry conferences, client pitches, and investor meetings. (Critical for trade show presentations and follow-ups)
  • Design intuitive UI components for Smart Map and Smart Ticketing platforms used by attractions, hotels, and tour operators.
  • Develop responsive and mobile-friendly interfaces for seamless guest interactions.
  • Maintain visual consistency across B2B SaaS products, dashboards, and client portals by upholding a strong design system.
  • Create data visualizations, interactive maps, and real-time guest experience features to improve tourism operations.
  • Establish and refine UI style guides, typography, iconography, and visual assets to strengthen brand identity.
  • Conduct usability testing and design validation to continuously improve the guest experience.
  • Own Nutmeg's visual branding, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand presence across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with CEO, CTO, marketing, sales, and engineering teams to implement user-friendly designs.
  • Translate user research, wireframes, and prototypes into polished high-fidelity UI designs.

Requirements:

Required

  • 3+ years of experience as a UI Designer, Marketing Designer, Visual Designer, or Graphic Designer in a SaaS, B2B, or technology company.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in dashboard UI, mobile-first design, , interactive experiences, brand identity work, digital marketing assets, and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or other UI design tools.
  • Knowledge of Canva, Webflow, or other no-code design tools is a plus.
  • Experience designing for web, mobile, social media, and print marketing materials.
  • Passion for tourism, attractions, and travel technology.
  • Ability to translate complex SaaS solutions into clear, visually appealing marketing materials.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams in marketing, product, and sales.
  • Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing interactive dashboards, maps, or data-heavy interfaces.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development (not required but a plus).
  • Familiarity with motion graphics or animations for interactive elements is a plus.

Conditions:

  • Job type: Full-time
  • 9:00-am - 6:00 pm work (1 hour break, 8 hour workday)
  • Weekdays (Mon-Fri)
  • Remote work permitted

Holidays and leaves:

  • Full weekends (Saturday, Sunday and public holidays in the USA)
  • Sudden time-off requests due to family reasons are accepted

Work environment:

  • Work location: San Francisco Bay area office or remote from anywhere in the USA
  • Occasional business trips to other states for on-site meeting with clients
