Blaze.com was born in 2019 as a result of a handful of entrepreneurs who not only had a knack for entertaining others but, also an affinity with the iGaming industry. They teamed up and built a new product, setting the bar to an all-new high. Now in just a two years, we have created a new category in iGaming by combining social and real-money gaming! We currently have 2,000+ games and 2,000,000+ registered players. Naturally, we can't do all of this as well as all the exciting things we have lined up for the years to follow without the living legends that make our business the success it is today.
We are seeking a highly creative and talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting exceptional user experiences and visually engaging interfaces for our digital products. Your designs will be instrumental in enhancing user satisfaction and driving overall product success.
You Will:
- User Research: Conduct user research and gather insights to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences. Use this data to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively
- Visual Design: Develop visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that align with our brand identity and design guidelines
- Responsive Design: Design user interfaces that are responsive and adaptable across various devices and screen sizes
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to ensure seamless integration of design solutions
- Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Design Guidelines: Establish and maintain design guidelines and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency in design processes
- Accessibility: Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards to provide an inclusive user experience for all users
- Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design skills and approaches
Requirements
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and a focus on user-centric designs
- Design Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, Figma, or other relevant design software
- UX Design: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and user flow creation
- Visual Aesthetics: Solid grasp of visual design principles, including layout, color theory, typography, and iconography
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
- Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to translate complex ideas into intuitive and elegant design solutions
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality designs and seamless user experiences
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and project requirements
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
