About Chase and the Design Strategy Team

Chase's Design Strategy & Transformation team is growing, and we are looking for a rock star designer to focus on designing solutions that guide large scale innovation and solve complex financial problems for our customers.

We're looking for a creative, empathetic, and resourceful Senior Content Designer to join, contribute and help our team develop into one of the best content strategy teams in tech. This role is perched at the intersection of storytelling, user experience, strategy, and transformation. You will be responsible for creating content to develop holistic experience strategies and systems that reflect deep empathy for customers and provide scalable, integrated outcomes for our business. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders, using a variety of storytelling, visualization, and framing techniques to convey opportunities that will directly shape the development of our consumer and employee facing products.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be working on the Transformation side of our DCE Strategy team to identify scalable solutions to the opportunities we uncover in research, with the goal of transforming our ways of working within Chase. A content designer is responsible for creating, evaluating, updating, and reviewing content at all stages of the end-to-end user journey.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build content strategy and stories that unify & align business goals with great user experience
  • Strong knowledge of UX best practices
  • Work with all teams necessary to manage and deliver content
  • Familiar with delivering creative within an Agile environment
  • Participate in a multi-disciplinary team of researchers, product designers, technologists, and business experts to identify new opportunities that create value for customers to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of content strategy with a clear understanding of information architecture, interactive design principles, and web usability
  • Ability to produce user-centered design from concept to delivery without supervision
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
  • Content Strategist works with Experience Strategy leads and UX team members to identify and meet the content demands for various projects .

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital, with direct work experience in content strategy
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, HCI, Communications, Psychology, Advertising, or another communications-related field preferred, but not required
  • Lead content work on complex end-to-end experiences
  • Significant experience with user-centered and human-centered design approaches
  • Advanced to Expert skills in UX Writing and Information Architecture
  • Able to deliver digital content that adheres to documented standards for copy, including writing according to nuanced voice & tone
  • Experience working cross-functionally, closely with partners, and comfortable presenting to all levels
  • Extensive experience working with brand and copy standards, including style, voice and tone
  • Mastery of the organizational navigation required for content compliance, including legal and accessibility reviews
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-disciplinary team
  • Ability to synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs.
  • Prior work shows how an understanding of business value and product strategy to lead to successful content outcomes was used
  • Awareness and practical understanding of current technologies and their application and relevance to digital experiences.
