UX Designer

Liquibase is hiring an experienced UX Designer to lead product design to enhance our database change management product. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of hands-on product design experience and a proven ability to collaborate with internal developers and product stakeholders.
You are a great fit if you’re inherently curious, enjoy learning complex domains, ramp up quickly, and can apply appropriate B2B and enterprise software design patterns and principles to the project at hand.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with team members across the organization to understand the goals and requirements for UI/UX design projects
- Produce deliverables on time and as agreed on by the project team including but not limited to user journeys, scenarios, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready design assets
- Create low-, mid- and high-fidelity designs as well as prototypes in Figma
Must Haves:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on product design experience
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- Experience contributing to or leading the design for B2B, SaaS, or enterprise products and can share examples under an MNDA (if needed)
- Comfortable using tools like Figma and Miro
- Experience with cloud-based UIs and design systems, with a demonstrated ability to think through end-to-end solutions with a strong user-centered approach
- Can explain the rationale in the approach and process to your work
- Highly detail-oriented, reliable, and possessing an understanding that the success of any project hinges on proactive communication and effective collaboration with our team
- Seeks to understand the objectives of the end deliverables as well as who you are designing for
- Experience conducting and synthesizing the results of user research, especially usability tests
- Based in the US or Canada
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in the DevOps or Database management spaces
- Experience with AWS solutions and approaches
- Experience with UI design using HTML, CSS, Javascript
