UX Designer III

The WEX UX team is responsible for designing customer experiences for many different types of users. We work in the health, travel, payments & fleet space. Our team collaborates across all different verticals to make sure we are creating the best experiences that can be used across different platforms. You will be expected to contribute to all aspects of design and execution, including pitching your ideas, designing products and features (workflow, visual design, interaction design, and prototyping), and partnering with research to test your ideas. You will work with development to implement the approved vision. What you’ll do:
Collaborate with Product and UX Team Lead to translate concepts into user flows, visualizations and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences with an emphasis on both customer-facing applications, both desktop and mobile form factor.
Deliver wireframes and visualizations optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces with a focus device-agnostic design.
Make strategic design and user-experience recommendations related to both core and new functions and features. Identify workflow and experience problems, and suggest elegant solutions.
Ensure a user-centered design approach, rapid test and learn methodology. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.

Experience you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree with studies relevant to digital experience creation, graduate program is a plus
- 4+ years of experience as a UX Designer, or similar UX related role
- Expert level with the following tools: Figma, Google Suite
- Working knowledge in Sketch, Invision, Creative Cloud
- Strong understanding of mobile-first approach, experience designing based on personas.
- Passion for working collaboratively on complex workflows and applications to create intuitive interfaces.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities, navigate ambiguity, have fun doing so with a team of peers
- Good communication skills including written, verbal and presentation to leadership audiences.
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $94,000.00 - $125,000.00
