About The Role

As a Senior UX Writer at Tabby, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our users have clear, engaging, and user-friendly experiences across all of our digital platforms. 

You will work collaboratively with designers, product managers, researchers, developers, and other UX Writers to create exceptional user interfaces and content that aligns with our brand voice and user-centred design principles. 

The main focus of your role is writing for our B2B products, but you’ll also need to be comfortable lending your copy expertise to our B2C streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content strategy I Maintain a cohesive content strategy that aligns with our brand guidelines and user needs 
  • User-centred writing I Create clear, concise, and user-friendly content for our websites and mobile app
  • Collaboration I Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to ensure content integrates seamlessly with the overall user experience.
  • UX Research I Conduct user research and collaborate with UX researchers to understand user behaviour and preferences, using insights to refine content.
  • Content style guide I Maintain our content style guide to ensure consistency in messaging and tone across all touchpoints
  • Internationalisation I Adapt and localise content for our MENA audience alongside our Arabic UX Writer, paying close attention to cultural nuances and language variations 
  • Feedback integration I Gather feedback from users, stakeholders, and usability testing, and incorporate it into content improvements.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Must be a native English speaker 
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a UX Writer or Content Designer 
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your work, with a focus on user-centred content and its impact on user experiences.
  • Knowledge of UX design principles, information architecture, and user research methodologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills 
  • Adept at working in an agile development environment and handling multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience in fintech industry 
  • Familiarity with prototyping and wireframing tools such as Figma 
  • Experience writing across B2B and B2C products 
  • Knowledge of localisation and internationalisation practices, and associated tools such as Ditto or Localise.
