Vice President, Global Strategic Sourcing
Why this role matters
The Vice President, Global Strategic Sourcing will lead the Business Area Global Communications Platform (BGCP) Strategic Sourcing team, implement improvements to the Sourcing Operating Model, work closely with BCGP business leaders to develop and implement global spend strategies, and assess and mitigate risk with third party suppliers. This role will also have global oversight of real estate and facilities.
What you'll do
- Develop sourcing strategies for procurement of all services and products required for BGCP.
- Lead the organization to assess potential suppliers, negotiate contract terms, and determine vendor partnerships based on factors such as cost-effectiveness, quality and reliability.
- Utilize strong communication and collaboration skills with business partners and their vendors to set the global strategic and tactical direction for sourcing efforts related to spend categories, consistent with the business vision and strategy and continuously assess future state business needs.
- Manage the requirements of the National Security Agreement (NSA) as it relates to Vendor Management and long term plans to enhance compliance controls.
- Ensure the execution of standards, controls, governances, policies, procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Drive vendor management processes and reporting to ensure all NSA requirements are satisfied.
- Create category sourcing alignment and improve collaboration with Global Sourcing teams.
- Set OKR’s and KPI’s in alignment with Group Sourcing and business cost improvement needs, setting both cost reduction targets and contractual payment day targets in alignment with business goals.
- Develop and implement tools and data strategy for Sourcing function.
- Provide excellent leadership to drive a high performance culture within the Sourcing team, including development of competence plans for the team.
- Understand and monitor key spending trends, cost drivers, market factors, and geographic considerations
- Manage and facilitate all aspects of the procurement activities, including vendor evaluations, buyer and supplier processes, and related audits
- Scrutinize, negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers.
- Oversight of the company’s real estate portfolio, including facilities management, workplace services, and identification of new workplaces and related lease negotiation and construction
- Drive governance reviews to ensure continuous improvement in cost, delivery, and quality performance
- Uphold company fiduciary responsibilities; actively ensure and maintain adherence to company standards and values, business controls, ethics, policies and procedures, and professional standards

What's required for application
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience performing strategic sourcing and procurement activities for respective categories, including senior leadership experience. Global expertise in services sourcing and real estate management required.
- Proven change management skills
- Management of supplier relationships. Knowledge and capabilities in developing sourcing and supplier strategies. Demonstrated abilities to build and grow supplier relationships
- Strong vendor performance management and contract administration
