Visual Designer
As we navigate through the transformation of financial services from traditional, outdated systems to innovative, user-centered solutions, Shakepay is looking for a Visual Designer who can encapsulate the essence of our brand in every visual output.
As a Visual Designer, you will elevate our visual storytelling, ensuring it aligns perfectly with Shakepay’s ethos and communicates our vision effectively to our audience.
You will:
- Craft and evolve Shakepay’s visual identity, ensuring it resonates across all customer touchpoints and stands out in the financial landscape.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and executive teams to produce compelling designs for digital and physical mediums that tell the Shakepay story.
- Utilize data and customer insights to inform and validate your design choices, ensuring they align with our brand strategy and engage our target audience.
- Lead the creation of brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all external communications and platforms.
- Drive brand awareness and customer loyalty through innovative design strategies and execution.
Must have:
- 5+ years of experience in brand design, with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of work across digital and print media.
- Strong illustration skills, able to create unique and engaging artwork that enhances brand storytelling and visual appeal.
- Strong understanding of branding principles and storytelling through design.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.) and an understanding of the latest design trends.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable brand experiences.
Nice to have:
- Experience in fintech or startup environments.
- A portfolio demonstrating successful brand transformations or launches.
- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Interest or background in Bitcoin and blockchain technologies.
- Education in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools.
