Job Description

Taylor Stitch is looking for a full-time Visual Designer to join our creative team to help bring our brand to life and continue to evolve our design vision. The role contributes to a range of projects—from email and site design, to organic social & paid advertising content. We launch products most days of the calendar year, so the ability to maintain the brand aesthetic and message, while seamlessly transitioning from collection to collection, is essential. The ideal candidate has a passion for typography and editorial design through visual storytelling, but also has their eye on the latest web marketing best practices. Candidates should be able to design within an established brand identity system while pushing the direction forward. Core projects will include marketing emails, product description pages, social assets, look books, printed material for direct mail, events, press, and photography selection with opportunities to drive creative direction and UI on larger web projects.

Responsibilities

  • Create marketing campaigns to support our ongoing product launch calendar from start to finish including: emails, ads, organic social, landing pages, product pages, in-store promotions and updating the homepage.
  • Responsible for the design and production of all branded emails: from choosing image selects to working with copywriters to execute against our daily email calendar.
  • Support overarching marketing objectives with site and paid advertising assets.
  • Own the entire creative process and production of campaign creative for seasonal sales promotion events.
  • Serve as UI liaison by interfacing with web/UX team to provide brand perspective toward site updates.
  • Coordinate with Photography team to ensure and maintain a high level of execution across images and visual materials.
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing Manager to execute against campaign deadlines and deliverables.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our design standards and templates while consistently thinking towards future evolution.
  • Help craft unique storytelling moments around our products and brand through exciting, engaging digital experiences.
  • Present and communicate ideas, progress, rationale, and process to cross-team stakeholders.
  • Maintain organization of design files and asset library.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Graphic Design or related degree from accredited Arts College or University—or equivalent experience.
  • Minimally 2 years of professional experience (ideally within the digital direct-to-consumer and/or apparel industry).
  • Solid creative portfolio that incorporates typographic work and branding projects.
  • Strong competency in Adobe Creative Suite & Figma applications. Animation and experience with After Effects is a plus.
  • Experience with Klaviyo and Shopify is a plus.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of typography, grid systems, color theory and composition.
