We are looking for a visionary Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy and execution as we continue to scale.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with CloudQuery’s business goals.
  • Position CloudQuery as the go-to solution for cloud governance, focusing on use cases such as cloud asset inventory, security and compliance.
  • Build and mentor a world-class marketing team, including demand generation, product marketing, content marketing, and community engagement.

Brand & Messaging

  • Define and refine CloudQuery’s messaging, ensuring clear articulation of our value proposition.
  • Establish CloudQuery as the thought leader in cloud governance through consistent, authoritative brand voice.

Demand Generation & Growth

  • Drive demand generation programs across multiple channels, including digital advertising, email campaigns, SEO, and events.
  • Partner closely with sales to develop account-based marketing (ABM) strategies that accelerate lead generation and conversions.

Content & Community

  • Lead content creation initiatives, including blogs, whitepapers, webinars, and case studies, to educate and engage technical and business audiences.
  • Foster community engagement and advocacy, leveraging developer-first initiatives like open-source contributions.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously improve marketing outcomes.

Partnerships & Ecosystem

  • Develop partnerships with ecosystem players like ClickHouse, Azure, AWS, and GCP to enhance joint marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align marketing initiatives with product launches and roadmap updates.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles at B2B SaaS or cloud technology companies.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or data-driven platforms; experience marketing to developers, DevOps, and security professionals is a strong plus.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in scaling marketing teams, driving demand generation, and delivering measurable growth.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to craft and execute long-term strategies while maintaining a hands-on approach.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, compelling way.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams.
  • Metrics-Driven: Expertise in leveraging analytics tools to measure success and inform decision-making.
