What's the opportunity?
As the VP of Business Transformation, you will provide thought leadership and lead cross-functional programs that will allow dLocal to continue growing with no blockers. You will implement end-to-end process/technology/people improvements that will drive benefits and speed at scale. In this role, you will play a key role in driving the organization towards a culture of operational excellence and efficiency, while maintaining our merchant-centric approach. Change management will be required to ensure quick results and productivity gains.
What will I be doing?
- Operational excellence
- Collaborate with the ~40 department heads to develop and bring to reality roadmaps of operational improvements focused on scalability and productivity. Work alongside business leaders to help determine which initiatives should be undertaken - why, when, how
- Work with Department Heads to ensure initiatives remain on track: proactively identifying all obstacles and risks, supporting owners to overcome challenges, and ensuring initiatives are resourced appropriately in collaboration with leadership
- Track and quantify operational excellence gains. Report progress to the C-level
- Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Own and lead complex, cross-functional projects
- Gain trust and influence others through strong communication and a hands-on approach
- Support the organization in prioritizing projects and assigning resources
- Strategic priorities
- Support C-level on the execution of strategic priorities
- Provide ad-hoc support on projects small to large – Act as a thought leader, helping navigate challenging problems and identifying solutions
- Act as an owner of strategic company-wide projects that will have a long-lasting impact and require cross-functional coordination
- Conduct cross-functional working sessions to generate insights, create alignment, and drive next steps
- Support Leadership to accelerate their work including:
- Facilitating workshops
- Building business cases
- Conducting research
- Analyzing data
- Developing content/presentations
- Data & Analytics
- Lead efforts to partner with the leadership team and stakeholders to define and deploy key performance indicators to monitor past, current, and future performance
- Conduct data analysis to develop data insights and enable decision-making
- Set the cadence of leadership team interactions, and coordinate meeting structure and data
What skills do I need?
- Demonstrated experience in implementations and transformations
- Prior experience in business process improvement and tool implementations
- Experience in Technology companies
- Experience in managing a lean team, where a hands-on approach is required
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced changing environment
- Negotiation, mediation, and conflict management skills
- Proven success working with all levels of management
- Change management experience
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Advanced analytical capabilities and aptitude to distill insight, translating complex concepts into clear and understandable communications
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English
