J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (JPMWM) is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and is comprised of the Chase Wealth Management business, J.P. Morgan Advisors, J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investing (digital platform), J.P. Morgan Investments Direct, and J.P. Morgan Personal Advisors. J.P. Morgan (our Remote Wealth Management offering).
The Business Analyst for the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management team will play a key role in building the new business and integrating within the existing JPMWM infrastructure. You will contribute to giving the Field (leadership, advisors, etc.) the necessary operating models, tools, and resources needed to successfully provide a world class experience to our advisors the clients we serve, serve, with a focus on the control framework.
Job responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for the National Branch organization with leadership, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Audit and Business Partners
- Proactively identify risks, gaps and opportunities for improvement and take action to mitigate accordingly, including adjusting business processes and procedures
- Support and manage end-to-end implementation of strategic initiatives in partnership with the team
- Provide Project Management support - understand requirements from the business, partner with functional partners to prioritize and deliver, prepare status updates for all levels of management and escalate
- Participate in maintaining a sound control environment and supporting audit and regulatory reviews and initiatives
- Support daily inquiries, integrate content and manage internal communications, including management of weekly management meetings, data reporting, and other day to day business administrative activities
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of experience in project management and financial services, preferably wealth management and financial planning
- Demonstrated experience leading projects (planning, designing, documenting, communicating)
- Familiarity with end-to- end bank infrastructure (Advisors, client service, product, technology, operations and controls)
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure and willing to take personal risk and accountability Team
- Provide detailed reporting and tracking data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong presentation to include creating decks and complex excel spreadsheets
- Understands the importance of a deadline
- A true team player and collaborative partner but also works well independently
- Industry experience and/or knowledge
