Positioned between ShiftCare’s Engineering and Marketing teams as the shiftcare.com website owner, you will help us implement new features and content and maintain the highest levels of reliability and performance. We treat our work as a craft and are passionate about reliability, our customers, and doing more with less.
The Role
You will own the shiftcare.com website from a technical point of view and play a pivotal role in driving its evolution and reliability.
You will be responsible for:
- Manage and maintain the marketing website built on Statamic, ensuring smooth operation and updates.
- Develop and implement new features and functionalities in Statamic using PHP and Laravel, HTML and JS.
- Optimize website performance, focusing on page load times, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Ensure website compliance with SEO best practices and stay updated with the latest SEO trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement content and design changes.
- Monitor website analytics to identify opportunities for improvement in performance and user engagement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
About You
- You have proven experience in building and managing websites, ideally for Product driven companies.
- You have a strong attention to detail and use your curiosity to continuously identify areas of improvement.
- You have a good mix of front-end, back-end, and server administration skills.
- You have a can-do/can-learn attitude but are never afraid to ask questions, especially when the alternative could pose a risk to the reliability of a website.
- You are passionate about learning, continuous improvement, and excellence in software developemnt as a craft.
- You have strong experience using CMS in high-traffic websites.
- You communicate effectively with stakeholders.
