We are looking for a Freelance Writer to create clear, concise, engaging copy for our social platforms, website, and other marketing assets. The successful candidate will be creative, detail oriented, and able to work independently. They will be comfortable making suggestions for amazing content, seeking buy-in from other members of the team.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice consistent with our brand
- Collaborate with product management, operations, marketing resources, and other professionals on marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
- Conduct research and interviews with internal Subject Matter Experts
- Edit and proofread copy as needed
- Integrate SEO principles in all written copy
- Works with limited or no supervision to accomplish tasks and resolve issues as they arise
- Adapts writing style to project requirements
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience primarily in B2B.
- Web content focus
- Experience writing social posts, articles, case studies, white papers, landing pages, email campaigns, and pay-per-click.
- Experience writing long form content (4000+ words)
- Native English speaker or able to speak English fluently
- Available for weekly meetings with the marketing team
- Able to provide 5 samples of published/online content with links
- Able to include LinkedIn profile
