Overview:

Provide recruitment and talent strategy support for Fanatics Betting & Gaming Team. The Principal Tech Recruiter is responsible for full life cycle recruiting and proactively developing talent strategies for our Engineering organization that will help drive the business to meet their goals while being the subject matter expert on all engineering recruiting practices. Additionally, this role is required to operate as a talent advisor to the business to ensure that our hiring practices result in only the best hires which includes coaching and consulting with our hiring and business leaders. You will be responsible for engaging candidates at all levels and finding unique and creative ways to build and maintain technical candidate pipelines while keeping a focus on building diverse slates. Additionally, you will mentor other recruiters on the team and across all of Talent Acquisition; using your industry expertise to help raise the recruiting capabilities across the Talent Acquisition team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full life cycle searches for all levels of Engineering roles including executive level roles with very strategic and complex offers
  • Partner with hiring managers and leaders to understand position specifications as well as the organization structure 
  • Develop recruitment strategies while coaching and influencing hiring leaders throughout the process
  • Utilize automated selection tools and determine appropriate tools for all parts of the business
  • Partner with team on pro-active recruitment efforts to create pipeline of talent for Fanatics at all levels including creating diversity hiring strategies
  • Research and develop passive candidate pipelines using engaging outreach strategies
  • Networking - pursue and develop relationships with potential candidates and key industry executives
  • Conduct exploratory interviews on a regular basis and develop system to ensure follow up
  • Support team recruitment efforts by mentoring and leading the direction of recruitment efforts alongside more junior team members
  • Partner with C-Suite leaders on executive level searches which includes partnering with search firms as needed
  • Manage job postings and advertisements
  • Establish key recruiting metrics
  • Manage staffing agency relationships and temporary staffing as needed
  • Lead additional projects for Talent Acquisition which may be companywide initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in recruiting candidates at all levels including executive level roles
  • 7+ years experience working as a Full Life Cycle technical Recruiter with a minimum of 5 years experience working in a full time recruiter capacity for a Fortune 500 company.
  • Proven experience influencing and consulting with hiring teams while operating in an agile and dynamic environment
  • 3+ years experience leading and mentoring others
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and engineering teams including C-Suite
  • Must be able to independently manage priorities and multi-task
  • Excellent oral communication, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Systems - intermediate skills in all G-Suite Applications, Oracle experience a plus
  • Demonstrates confidence and ability to network and develop relationships
  • Internet savvy with experience in recruiting using the latest sourcing techniques
  • Experience or knowledge of the betting and gaming industry a definite plus
  • Experience working as an agency recruiter recruiting for technical positions a plus
